Beautifully designed accommodation with excellent setting close to the city center and beach and long distance buses. A wide range of local options for meal.
Beds were uncomfortable.

For the budget minded...the hotel has a lot going for it. Just stayed one night but the Mayan theme was fun. The rooms were clean but could use some upgrading. The food was really good in the restaurant and a good price. It is in a good location close to lots of dinning and within walking distance to the ADO bus station.
Rooms could use a little upgrade.

We enjoyed the fact that it is a very athentic Mexican Hotel. No english anywhere, but the staff was very helpful and made us feel at home and welcomed. We were allowed to keep a room open until 3:00 when our taxi came to take us to the airport. We got to hang around the beautiful pool until then. I don't think we would have gotten that type of service in the US.

I did not like anything about the hotel... it was rated as a 4 star and it was no where close to that.... the photos on-line were great even had towels folded into animal shapes .. however the hotel was the kind of place you felt you can pay by the hour... horrible!

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice pseudo-Mayan design, clean rooms, nice breakfast facility, parking lot. It is located nicely in an out-going area with restaurants and bars at walking distance, and the bus station is around the corner.
Elevators are almost always out of order (which was confirmed by friends who have stayed at the hotel more often), the rooms open up to a quite noisy street, and the air conditioning produces quite some noise as well (as is the case in almost every hotel in Mexico, and which is, I assume, unavoidable); there is a tv set in the room, but I have already noticed twice that the remote control is missing.

This hotel was amazing. If you're not too focused on modern hotel design and prefer the more rustic mexican feel then this is definately the place. We stayed in the suite and the rooms were clean, Massive, and aircon worked great. Wireless internet was good too. There was no tv remote, and aircon remote batteries needed changing a few times but we don't consider this the most important aspects of our stay! The location was perfect - you can walk to the bars and restaurants in the same street or mercado 28, and the plaza is only 5min walk away. We enjoyed our stay!

Convenient location to walk to many restaurants. Rooms & bathrooms slightly nicer than similarly priced downtown options. Internal decor of common areas more like a Mayan museum than hotel.

We stayed at this hotel and thought that the location was very good. We paid £15 per night per person and it was really worth it. It is very central, close to th emarket and to the bus stops. It is also very close to a very livelly square on the weekends. The hotel is beautiful with all the wall paintings and the swimming pool was ever so relaxing. I would stay there again. Do stay here if you are looking for something away from the turistic hotel area.
